FOUNDER & CEO
Since first entering the world of Formula 1, Katja Heim has played a key role in establishing the now internationally accepted profile for the Formula 1 fan base; marrying motorsport with lifestyle in fresh and dynamic ways, she put Formula 1 on a new footing. Over the last three decades, Katja has led major assignments from a number of Grands Prix, stakeholders and manufacturers while gaining a
personal reputation as a leading figure in sports marketing, PR and communications. During this time Katja was commissioned by Porsche to re-vamp its marketing strategy and consequently designed the Porsche Supercup as a support event to the main Formula 1 race, which continues to be a highly successful championship to this day.
Under her leadership, KHP has earned an international reputation as a premier sports agency winning contracts in PR, marketing, event management and sponsorship activation across a range of major brands including Porsche, IWC Schaffhausen, Casio, MasterCard and Royal Dutch Shell. Katja’s expertise has also led to KHP being appointed as the official sports agency for a number of Formula 1 promoters including those in Bahrain, Abu Dhabi, Austin, Sochi and Baku.
Over and above running KHP, Katja also undertakes a number of select consultancy engagements. Her expert consultancy is prized amongst many of the most senior figures and institutions in motorsport and ensures that she continues to be a central force in the highly competitive world of motorsports - and Formula 1 in particular - today.
Tom arrived at KHP in 2012, with a strong communications background gained across the journalism, publishing, digital and broadcast sectors. Here he gained vital experience in delivering innovative work via integrated communications campaigns for global brands such as Dell, Vodafone & the Discovery Channel as well as working with high-profile talent in the cultural, consumer and sporting world.
As an integral part of KHP’s team, he has worked with the German, U.S., Russian and Azerbaijani Grand Prix Promoters, devising and implementing their respective international communications strategies to help promote these major sporting events. A native speaker of both English and German, in his role as KHP’s Communications Director, he has also successfully delivered stand out work for KHP’s long-standing client Porsche Supercup, as well as the likes of IWC Schaffhausen, Rosland Capital and the Dubai Sports Council.
SENIOR CIRCUIT & COMMERCIAL DIRECTOR
Michael joined KHP in 2010 after completing an MsC in Business Organisation, Strategy and Change Management; studying in France, Germany and the UK. His skill set has seen him work across a variety of international projects for clients such as Shell, the Motor Sport Business Forum, Abu Dhabi Motorsport Management, Flash Entertainment and Rosland Capital.
During his tenure at KHP, Michael has been an integral and valued member of the circuit activation team on the Abu Dhabi, United States, German, Russian and Azerbaijan Grands Prix. From budgeting, campaign planning, logistics, strategy development and implementation, stakeholder acquisition, brand positioning and on-site stakeholder activation, Michael’s experience, knowledge and expertise make him an essential part of the KHP team, where he’s grown into a complete ‘all-rounder’ in the world of motorsport.
