KHP and the German Formula One circuit of Hockenheim enjoy one of the oldest client agency relationships in Formula One. Last year KHP helped the circuit to go all out to make sure that the Mobil 1 German Grand Prix 2006 was the best fan event ever with even more activities both on and off the track.
Motorsport enthusiasts could meet their idols at specially arranged autograph signing sessions in the public area with Formula One, GP2 and Porsche Supercup drivers all taking part. Exclusive pit walks, pit stop challenges and guided bus tours on the Formula One track presented by current and former race stars brought fans closer to the action than ever before. Former German Formula One drivers Christian Danner and Hans-Joachim Stuck took turns behind the microphone to give a drivers eye view of the circuit.
Everything during the course of the weekend was geared towards creating the ultimate fan experience for the whole family. Giant screens dubbed ‘Fan TV’ broadcast footage of all the on and off track action and at strategic times throughout the weekend
live music on the Hockenheim main stage created a festival atmosphere for fans making the most of every minute of the Mobil 1 German Grand Prix 2006.
A classic car exhibition took centre stage alongside the Experience World drift challenge – a car sliding competition on a separate track for fans to take part in. No one could miss the sound of the top-fuel dragster cars as the take to the track for a short but noisy performance race day.

Porsche didn’t want to miss out on the action so KHP organised a repeat of the Porsche driving school from Bahrain where youngsters get the opportunity to test their skills in specially designed miniature Porsche’s. The school took place on the Porsche stand in the public vending area of the circuit and proved a great success with kids queuing up to take part in the fun. Never wanting to miss a media opportunity KHP and Porsche co-ordinated a PR stunt with the Supercup drivers at the driving school……despite being slightly too large for the kiddie karts the Supercup boys seemed equally as competitive in the kids area as they were on track…..
