KHP were tasked with creating a VIP media event for 
23/01/08, Davos, Switzerland: The WorldEconomic Forum is a Geneva-based foundation whose annual meeting of top business leaders, national political leaders (presidents, prime ministers and others), and selected intellectuals and journalists is held in Davos, Switzerland. The World Economic Forum is designed as a place for dialogue and debate about the major social and economic problems of the planet.
The Bahrain Economic Development Board tasked KHP with providing one of the highlights of the 2008 World Economic Forum annual meeting, an Arabic-themed networking event. Bahrain is the recognised financial hub of the Middle East and the EDB aimed to underline the Government’s commitment to ensuring a business friendly structure within Bahrain which is often noted as the most freest and open economy in the region.
KHP created a striking Arabic artistic fusion of entertainment at the Morosani Hotel by using a magnificent visual and atmospheric contrast – coming out of the snow of the Swiss winter and stepping into the warm welcome of the Bahraini desert, surrounding the VIP guests in imagery of the Kingdom’s past, present and future. The event was reported by the global media and the World Economic Forum bought together more than 1400 chairmen, CEO’s and politicians as well as royalty from around the world and VIP guests such as rock star and anti-poverty campaigner Bono. His Highness the Crown Prince Shaikh Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa represented the Kingdom of Bahrain at the event.
Talal Al Zain, the newly appointed Chairman of Mumtalakat, the main investment arm of the government of Bahrain explained: “KHP Consulting produced a fantastic event to maximise the impact of Bahrain’s presence at the World Economic Forum. It was a fantastic representation of Bahrain at such an important global occasion.”
